Staying true to my word that I was going to let it all go this year, we finally scheduled that trip to enjoy the benefits of adult travel in Jamaica. A friendly couple we had met at the SF Citadel told us about resorts where you could be romantic and keep it private or not private – your choice. We were thirsty for their stories and listened vehemently as they described the scenery, the people and genuine friendships they had made. It sounded like a dream; a dream we both deserved and wanted to make a reality. I was tired of feeling trapped in these clothes and in this society. I wanted to get away from it all and cool my head, release the tension. No work and no kids, just play, play, play in the pursuit of pleasure.
