The Hedonist

The Hedonist is a traveling sex guide written by Brett Tate. This book mirrors somewhat of what I am trying to accomplish on a few levels, but certainly not all, I have a goal of finding the right girl. Travel dating or dating people in different countries other than your own, can be a highly entertaining experience. This book relays that experience in a different context. I believe Brett tries to show you how to have sex with prostitutes more than he shows you how to pick up women. However he does go over some cultural differences and some nightlife destinations so I believe the book is very valuable to me in that regards. I differ from him in one area or or another, but the goal still seems to be the same. I suggest this read on destination locations, and his information on nightlife and beaches. He does dabble in the cultural area when speaking with women. His bullet points are with climate, entry requirements, money matters, hotels and finally the game plan. Simply put this book is the art of sex tourism. There are constant reminders in this book about how even the most innocent and cheerful looking women are after your wallet. He constantly reminds us that we are being provided fantasy treatment, and this treatment should not be confused with reality.

I must remind my readers that there is a lot of truth to this when travel dating. It should be understood that when picking up some women overseas, she is going to give you the experience of a lifetime in “ego massage”. The Hedonist, is spot on with his snippets of girl boy banter. You must remember, that if you’re girl comes off as a performance artist, and permeates your heart’s membrane with perfection, you are most likely experiencing a professional hustler. If you are the type that rarely gets his heart involved, you will not fall prey to the comically pathetic illusion of love. I do not want to confuse my readers, I am not against overseas prostitution. If you practice safe sex, and treat your partner in a respectful manner, this might be the answer you are looking for. Travel dating, is a little bit different. You will most likely sleep with a lot of women, but your efforts will be honest. Let’s face it, you have to meet and experience an awful lot of people, to come up with that perfect girl for you. I vary from the hedonist in locations visited. My personal taste lies in educated women, the game is played differently here. They have a greater idea of what they want also in a man. Trust me I know, there are truly many beautiful women that are uneducated, however because they lack the skills for thought, they often make incorrect choices in men for better lack of judgment. If the choices made for you are for the wrong reason, and you fall in lust with this new girl, you will be in a world of shit six months down the road and even worse possibly sexually addicted. This might be the most dangerous thing that can happen to a travel dater. So for those of you whom are interested in travel, but want to come back to the United States single, “The Hedonist”, might be the book for you.
